Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas, 400 g/m², is a polycotton canvas for inkjet printers. It has a matte finish.

Hahnemühle Daguerre enhances the vibrant colors of images, as its base is specifically designed for this purpose. It is very durable, making it ideal for stretching on a frame without cracking. Its robust material allows for varnishing prints. Daguerre canvas represents one of the latest technologies in high-quality printing.

Key Factors for a Good Print:

Megapixels (MP) 12 MP Resolution (Pixels) 4000×3000 px

DPI (Dots Per Inch) 300 DPI  PPI(Pixels Per Inch) 150-200 DPI

Format 4:3 or 3:2.

LOCATION AND ENVIRONMENT
Light: Avoid direct sunlight and UV rays to prevent fading. Opt for indirect, low light (less than 200 lux).
Temperature and Humidity: Maintain humidity between 40-60% and avoid heat sources (radiators, fireplaces) or extreme cold, which can crack the paint.
Ventilation: Do not hang it in bathrooms or on exterior walls. Ensure ventilation behind the painting to prevent mold (use spacers).

CLEANING AND HANDLING
Dust: Use a soft duster or microfiber cloth without rubbing too hard.
Dirt: For light dirt, a slightly damp cloth with distilled water may work, but test it on an inconspicuous area first. Do not use household cleaners!
Handling: Hold the artwork by the frame or edges, never by the canvas. Wear cotton gloves to avoid transferring oils from your skin.
Protection and Maintenance
Frame: A sturdy frame protects the canvas and stretcher bars. Make sure it fits properly.
Varnish: Varnish protects the artwork, but it degrades over time. Revarnishing is a job for a professional restorer, ideally after a drying period of 6 months to a year.
Inspection: Take the artwork down periodically to inspect the back and frame for signs of dampness or pests.

PACKAGING: The piece has been professionally and securely protected with high-quality, specialized materials.

SHIPPING: The shipping company is responsible for delivering the product to your address without damage.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS:  A refund is only issued if the artwork is damaged upon receipt. In that case, the customer has 5 days to file a damage claim. We require immediate photographs of the artwork. The artwork is non-refundable for reasons other than a defect in the artwork.

Delivery is expected approximately one day after placing your order and is available for pickup at our store. Orders shipped by mail take three business days, and international orders take one week. STANDARD SHIPPING TIMES
We ship our packages with Postnord for orders within Sweden, and DHL handles all packages for the EU and the rest of the world*. *Exception: Norway, Finland, and India, which also ship with Postnord.
Below, you will find the estimated delivery time once your order has been packaged, picked up by the carrier, and transportation has begun.
Domestic (Sweden): 1-2 business days (Postnord)
Europe: 1-4 business days (DHL)
Rest of the world: 2-6 business days (DHL)
Packages shipped with DHL are sent with International Priority for faster delivery.
Packages shipped with Postnord are sent as insured parcels (REK). All pickups by both carriers are scheduled for any business day, excluding national holidays.
NOTE: The indicated delivery times apply to standard freight and uninsured shipments, unless the destination country or region requires another method. Delivery times are estimated by the carrier and apply to normal working conditions. Variations may occur depending on workload.
